All pieces are designed and manufactured in-house in Vancouver. The focus is on clean, considered design, with an emphasis on material efficiency and low-waste production wherever possible. The goal isn’t to make more things. It’s to make better ones. 

Working primarily with 3D printing and digital fabrication, Retour creates objects that are precise, functional, and designed to stand apart from mass-produced objects. 

Who is Us

Retour is a one-person design lab. 

My work has always lived at the intersection of design and technology. I began as an engraver in the architectural signage industry, at a time when computerized machining was just emerging, working with early vinyl plotters and CNC engraving machines, and learning to push their limits. 

That foundation was built through hands-on work with materials like wood, brass, and aluminum, and processes including etching, polishing, and stamping. It shaped how I think about what makes an object work, and what makes it last. 

I moved into graphic design during the shift from manual layout to digital tools, naturally taking on the role of bridging design and technology. Changing it up again, I spent two decades in the tech industry, building and managing high-performing teams.  

Retour is a return to my design path: standout design, hands-on production using premium materials. Drawing on my background in design, I now use 3D modeling to create beautiful objects that make you smile.
